Bio:

Hometown:  San Jose, Costa Rica

Educational Background:  Jimmy attended San Rafael High School and then graduated from the fire academy at Santa Rosa Junior College.  He’s a California certified Prevention Specialist, Fire Officer and Fire Instructor.

Career History:  Jimmy started with Rancho Adobe as a volunteer in 2003.  He became a part-time firefighter in 2005 and was promoted to an Engineer in 2007.  Jimmy then promoted to Captain in October 2012 and became the RAFD Local 1401 President in January 2017.

Special Projects:  Jimmy is a CPR instructor, scheduling coordinator for full-time personnel, Illness Prevention Preparedness Program coordinator, department personnel pictures coordinator and social media coordinator.

Hobbies:  Jimmy’s hobbies include being the peewee t-ball assistant coach for his son’s baseball team, he’s a saltwater reef breeder and also enjoys construction and home improvement projects.
